Web Developer – Well Done Marketing

  • February 2020 – January 2025

I started at Well Done Marketing as a Junior Developer, learning the ins and outs of developing production-ready marketing websites. My main duties focused on maintaining WordPress sites and building small landing pages and pieces of larger websites. I cut my teeth on

In May 2022, I was promoted to Web Developer, taking on larger projects with more accountability. I tackled projects that integrated front-end and back-end development to provide web-based solutions that our clients needed. My knowledge expanded to encompass:

  • Tools and platforms around web hosting and domain ownership

Javascript Development Student – Eleven Fifty Academy

  • August 2019 – October 2019

After wrapping up at hc1, I was able to take a look at my career path and decide that it was time for a change. I heard about Eleven Fifty’s full-time development bootcamps and dove right in. Over the course of 3 months, I learned HTML, Javascript, CSS, Angular, working with fellow students to immerse ourselves in the world of code. We started with the basics, but had multiple projects completed by the end of the course.

Senior Content Manager – hc1.com

  • February 2019 – May 2019

I joined hc1.com to build and direct marketing content with help and insight from customer service and engineering teams on how best to reach potential customers.

Content Marketing Coordinator – Springbuk

  • April 2018 – October 2018

Springbuk needed my unique experience in digital content as well as print content to spearhead their content marketing efforts.

  • Published 2 pieces of printed collateral full of curated content to be handed out to prospects at events.
  • Oversaw social and email marketing strategies.
  • Built content frameworks for the sales team to enable customer engagement.

Content Marketing Manager – DATTUS

  • September 2017 – April 2018

DATTUS brought me on to build marketing materials from the ground-up and implement them into targeted campaigns built for the early-stage company.

  • Researched and built customer personas.
  • Interviewed current and prospective clients to inform where customer values were most focused.
  • Managed website content through Hubspot CMS.

Content Manager – Lessonly

  • December 2015 – August 2017

I worked with the marketing team to produce blog content of varying length on a daily and weekly basis. Tasks varied daily from research, outlining, writing, editing, and coming up with new ideas for content and marketing strategies. I also headed up Lessonly’s social media presence, scheduling posts and populating the company Instagram page.

Copywriter – MilesHerndon

  • August 2014 – November 2015

As the copywriter for MilesHerndon, I was tasked with writing copy, taglines, and names for brands that seek out MilesHerndon’s expertise in the subject. In addition to the brand writing, my responsibilities included coordinating social media accounts and writing general content.
